My Inspiration

Some people ask me what my different painting subjects have in common.  Tomatoes, succulents, fish, birds.  For me it's all about the color.  I live for beautiful colors. 

On a gloomy day, that's the best time to be in my studio splashing bright, lively colors on a canvas.  I would prefer to spend my days outside in nature, but the next best thing is to bring that beauty inside, to catch that perfect blossom highlighted by the sun.  My art is for people who aren't afraid to let that color in, and for people who share my passion for the beauty of our natural world. — Nicole
